... Enjoyed our first tapas and sangria where after made our way down to Zarautz. We had delicious breakfast on a terrace overlooking the ocean and the swell that just entered. Continued to meet up with old friends of Sahid from Venezuela Denis and Roxana. A dynamic couple that showed us around Mundaka, a pitoresk village, with again great views and that day big swell! Sahid went for a surf and i enjoyed lunch with my new friends. 3 courses including drinks for 11 ...

The side walk cafés, where friends and family come together to drink and eat.
The parks and gardens, with green grass, park benches and stone fountains, full of young families and lovers, and all the apartment dwelling Parisiens out getting their fresh air for the day.

It's certainly an amazing city, and we only had a couple of small dislikes. Craig thought the food ...

... connections. It was also funny when the same taxi driver picked me up at the hotel to take me to the bus station as it was the same taxi driver I had had for the train station - it was a little difficult explaining where I was going and he did the typical thing of saying the same thing louder and louder in the hope that I would understand. I showed him on the map and all was ok. We had a little bit of time stuck I traffic so he turned on the radio and started whistling away to jazz ...
