... but the facilities are good and as its all gravel no mud to worry about from the rain!
We took the bus into Lyon for a look around the city with no expectations but it was a nice city and easy to get around.
Now that its dry, we hope it will stay that way as staying / sleeping in the van with the rain pouring down is a pretty miserable place to be!!

... on that, or at least just push myself to walk a bit further, even if I walk quite slowly, just to keep going. Because I know when you stop, the lactic acid starts to kick in, you muscles get cold and sore and you have to stretch in order to avoid injury and aid quicker recovery. ... Road, complete with high street signs for viewing in the chariots, and the chariot ruts that you can see cutting lines through the old cobblestones. We enjoyed our walking tour of town, and the train ride to the overlook, where the church and great views were.
Then, we made our way to Lyon, and April and I headed off the ship to accompany the chef to the local market, Les Halles de Paul Bocusse, named after the famous french chef who put Lyon on the map gastronomically.
