... custard things and they were so delicious we had to have a second one each. I have basically got just under 3 weeks to go. In 2 weeks I travel to Amiens/Arras with the rest of the YFU group and we visit war memorials etc. Which should be good!! I feel like my English is getting really bad haha. Hi everyone, It's been quite a busy week for me this week. On Sunday, my family took me to a Christmas Market (Marchť de NoŽl) in Tours. We rugged up and walked through the streets lined with stalls and crowded with people. I didn't buy anything though. At the end of the streets, there was an ice skating rink, carousel and Ferris Wheel. Also there was a Churros stand. So my host parents bought Churros with chocolate sauce!! ... it was Repas NoŽl - meaning Christmas meal, so we got a huge lunch!! Entrťe was salad and meat, but I didn't eat the meat. Main was a potato and onion "lasagne type thing" no meat thankfully because it smelt and looked delicious. With it I had 'haricot vert' (green beans) and a bread roll. Hello all! There isn't much to tell of this week, I have been sick so no school pour moi. Just the flu, thankfully nothing serious - it's not surprising though as everyone is sick in this weather. ... picnicking, concerts, talent shows, playing the guitar, fireworks...etc. So many great experiences in one place and I will miss it so much. I love meeting everyone on the grass by the Guingette and sitting down with a bottle of wine and watching the sun set and turn into night.
