End of Week 3

... market. Every Sunday, tons of vendors flood the street next to the Loire. It took us two hours to get through! We tried cold sausages, cheeses, jams, and breads. There were also a bunch of clothing and shoe vendors. I ended up buying macaroons, because I am an addict. (They weren't the best, because they had been out all day. I am now qualified to be a macaroon taste tester.)
It was a beautiful day with great company!
And I won't be trying to go to Villandry again.

End of Week 2

... about something like that. I don't have a car here, and the bus drops me off far enough away from the house that it matters if I get caught in the rain.
For some reason, I find it easier (or at least, I have more motivation) to have a positive attitude. I am here for an adventure, and I refuse to let a little thing like rain get in my way.
I hope to bring this attitude home with me, and not get so irritated at the little things that can really be quite frustrating.
