... because an adapted version of them we have today! Da Vince never actually manufactured any of his inventions because he was so busy designing new ones. But, a company called IBM took Leonardo's designs, followed them precisely and made models of what they would have looked like had Leonardo made them! Some ideas you may recognize include a parachute, circular life buoy, flippers, a military tank and even a 3 wheeled car! Pretty amazing!

... in WW2. Beautifully furnished, with a nursery full of toys and the birthing room with cot etc. This chateau is the model for Tintin's adventures with Captain Haddock! ... and peaceful house is set in Parc Leonardo Da Vinci. Here he finished work on his 3 favourite paintings, including the Mona Lisa. A copy of this hung in one of the rooms, much larger than the original that we hope to see next week. In the basement were numerous models of his inventions.
