... control recently has broken down, this was the perfect sign to follow, where I planed to cross the border to Switzerland.

Just arrived in late afternoon to Aosta, I was not only already entered to the italian part of the alps but also to the point of good bye. Here I decided not to spend another night in Italy and crossed the border to my homecountry Switzerland a hour later at Calle del Gran San Bernardo.

... out from lack of oxygen I was able to gather myself and enjoy some really amazing views along with a packed lunch. After the mountain trek we went into the small ski town and enjoyed some of our "favorite brewage and enjoyed the surroundings" (per request of prof. Delmar).

Italian place highly regarded in the guide books. I sat at the bar
and had a nice meal of bruschetta and a ham and mushroom pizza and a
nice Rhine Reisling to accompany them. Things are quite slow this

the week that we spend in New England. Four days after returning
from New England, I then boarded the train to Chicago take 32 people
from Chicago to Las Vegas via Provo, Utah. I was sent over the day
before the tour and I ended up seeing my original travel buddy, Tom
Herron and his family and it was great to catch up with him. We used
to hang out a lot when we were both single, but times have changed
and our time together has been limited over the ...

It's a driving day today..as we have decided to cross Switzerland just over the border to Chamonix, Mont Blanc in France. We got up for breakfast, heading down at 9.30am, breakfast was average..didn't really love the hotel as the ladys cleaning the rooms were banging around at all hours..and the room was too hot without the windows (and mossies!) open. ... Megan made Nanaimo bars and butter tarts (we didn't know that butter tarts were not international) and we made Poutine for everyone. There were about 20 people involved and our prizes were Jelly donuts for 3rd place, Kraft Dinner for 2nd, and a bottle of Canadian Club for the winners. We had a lot of fun and since Canada Day we have had a few more "Poutine nights" as it is now a hostel favourite. On July 27 we had a big wine and cheese party to celebrate Megan ...

The reason I went to France was to go skiing at chamonix/Mont Blanc, which i did and it was fantastic and i will be doing again very soon before i get tied up.. while i was there i did the world famous ski run Valley de blanche you ski over a glacier. which is amazing, the veiws you get on theis run are spectacular. definately take a camera.
