Rugles is a lovely little town and the Aire is immaculate, next to a river running through the town, with full services and free electric. Lovely park is just over the bridge and it leads to the high street which has a few nice shops, bars etc but it's a little quiet with a few empty shops. This will be perfect for the ...

... Rothschilds partially restored and opened as a hotel. The left the ruins of the old church and part of the old abbey intact. It is a beautiful setting. We walked all through the grounds and then had a buffet lunch. It was a lovely afternoon. Then we went to a snail farm where they raise snails for escargot. it was interesting but smelly. Tonight we have our farewell dinner and say goodbye to a wonderful adventure.

It was a very misty morning. The grass play area had a low cloud hovering over the turf between the chalets and the camping cars.
