... 8220;flows” and left
a band of debris standing which subsequently eroded to leave the formation that
is seen today. One of the most remarkably things about the Pyramids are the
giant rocks balanced precariously on top of the pillars.

From here we planned to walk around the mountain to the town
of Veyzonnaz where we would catch a bus back to Sion, as in a relaxing day. So
off we set, the route proved to be very steep up and very scenic with an

our way we set off on what turned out to be a five hour walk to the top of a

... surprisingly didn’t work. We headed back to the bus stop and amazingly luck was on our side for once as our bus was just pulling in. We got back to the camp site in heavy rain to find the pizza wagon was in. Lyn had raved about these pizzas, so we promised ourselves one later. Lyn and I sat outside in the rain, under the basher with me wearing my new jacket whilst Tegz charged the laptop.

Lyn decided rain or not he was going to cook….and cook outside. The ...

... did not leave the airport until 6:30am. To pass the time, we walked around the city again, decorated with even more lights, and stopped in a kebab joint. Like mexican food in America, Turkish Kebabs dominate the fast food industry in Europe - and I love it! We made it to the airport by 1 am and managed to sleep a little on some cushioned chairs before going through security. A hostel really would not have been worth the money for only four hours of sleep. Luckily, ...
