The day started out pretty normal with clouds threatening and the odd drop of rain. Our goal today was to head over into France once again via the col de Balme, on the border of France and Switzerland. Well me made it, but not quite as planned... After leaving the Col de la Forclaz we headed towards the hamlet of le Peuty, but somewhere along the way we missed a turn and ended up in Trient - this was after a fair bit of downhill... ... Angela wowed us with fresh pizza. Mmmmm…felt like we were in a 5 star restaurant. Now that we knew where to get wine, we were on "sommelier duty" and she was the chef du jour! Once again she had us entranced with her European adventure stories, and had me making a mental note about all the Italian villages that we absolutely needed to visit.

Ahhh…I love "restaurant" nights!

... the divers jumped, but in the diameter of the pool also, as I was quite sure it was likely 10 times larger than the face of my 'magic locker/buying watch' (Talia's moniker not mine). Howdy folks,

Steffie was really keen to go and see one of the big mountains in the Alps, while we were staying here in Switzerland. It became a choice between Mont Blanc, the tallest mountain in the Alps and the Matterhorn, the mountain shaped like a toblerone. Or was it the other way around?
