    ... br> It was time to go home. We had to catch the ferry back from Le Havre at 12md on Friday. Between us and there was 300+ miles. Even though Will has performed really well it was too much to ask to knock out that distance in one day on a motorised razor blade. I'd already decided to split it over 2 days – Quimperle to Fougeres and then on Thursday to Le Havre.

    We tip out at midnight. Annie takes the drunken foreigners back to the hotel and she gets breathalysed on the way. Fortunately she hasn't touched a drop but she says it's the first time she's ever been bagged. Good job I wasn't driving. Can you get Wi-Fi in a police cell?
