      ... and original dinner in Neighbours, a beer and ale house that had been recommended by the friendly cocktail waitress. This was our last day in La Jolla. It's been a good couple of days and it is certainly a very beautiful part of the coast.       ... on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and Guy has been there. Dave loves him. It was really busy but well worth the wait. Clam chowder and fish tacos were incredible! The line was still out the door when we left. We decided to just spend the rest of the evening relaxing - maybe a swim or walk later. There will be a surprise tomorrow. Stay tuned. ...

      ... Julia, Luke and Allie. Allie had just turned 6 the day before. Julia was into rainbow bracelets and was nice enough to make me one. Remember, I ONLY have boy grandchildren. I was thrilled!

      Once we left their home, we headed to La Jolla to see the seals, but since it was a four day weekend, there wasn't a parking space to be had anywhere near, so we ended up heading home.

      All in all it was a nice weekend.
