    ... evening we had a super night with Cousin Dan and Sheila in their very nice village of Scotch Corner (I think a population of 350). After very sad good byes we are now back in Chamonix. It's always hard leaving Aunty Chris and Neville. Interesting for us, Chamonix felt like "coming home". The snow is further down the mountain, the trees are all golden and we are now off to watch NZ v Australia in the Grand Final. Go the Mighty All Blacks. ...

    ... how to prevent it but I swear after a couple days not even that long the lettuce goes bad specifically really limp. I swear by the next day or after it's all limp. I've tried a bag intended for produce but basically the same thing happens. It's a bit frustrating but not sure what to do other than hope this is fixed by the new fridge. We're see I guess.

    ... concierge failed to tell me that it was a toll road. I just changed the Euros in my wallet into Francs so all I had were Swiss Francs.
