      ... count would invite you into his latrine, which had an actual door that closed, in order to share his "business" and chat. It started snowing as we left, truly transforming it into a winter wonderland, and one of the most beautiful places I've yet to visit.

      ... and were off to the airport around 2:20, sad to see the mountains disappear from view. Upon arrival, the airport was quite busy, but the efficiency of the Swiss is incredible. We're used to Italy where everyone and everything is late and half broken, but Switzerland is so different.       ... the plane to Geneva. Despite carrying electrical tape on each of our flights so far, it was at malaga that it was confiscated off us. We still are not entirely sure why as we were unable to understand the guard. Nevertheless we didn't want to miss our flight, so we didn't argue about it for too long. A Shame however as it has come in handy for the trip. I guess they thought we could take over the aeroplane and hold the pilots for ransom with it. ...

      ... a Franziskaner German beer.

      This is the moment I have been looking forward to since we left Denver -- arriving in Athens, getting set up in our room and sitting outside enjoying the view of the port and Athens from the deck of the ferry. How many times we have smiled just at the thought of this in the past few weeks!

      We plan to turn in for the night shortly after sailing away from the port. We will probably get up very early tomorrow morning, due to jet lag. ...
