... Exploring the small town and shops here was great. Proceeding from our amazing experience we went to a local restaurant and ate lunch. After we headed back to Geneva for the last few hours.      Here we went to the hotel I packed and got ready to go to our final dinner in Old City Geneva. When we went to one meeting room it was really cool to see all the seats have their own personal microphone. We were ...

We enjoyed a leisurely drive to Cruseilles and were happily surprised when we rounded the bend and saw the Chateau des Avenieres standing very proud on the hill.

It is a beautiful building and we have a stunning room at a great price because it is neither popular summer nor in demand for the skiing season.

The Chateau is not a significantly old or historical building having only been ...

    Geneva part I (23rd & 24th May)

... booked on Swiss Air which required us to fly in and out of Switzerland. When leaving the UK to fly into the US, we decided to stop over in Switzerland for 9 days. The beauty of Switzerland was the big attraction but the cost per day to stay here was going to prove a challenge. Most travellers on a tight budget decide to skip Switzerland all together but this country has incredible diversity and has amazing things to offer.
