Today was the final day of our tour, but sadly we could not hike due to pouring rain. Luckily we are at a nice hotel in an actual town (Charmonix) which is a good place for a day off. We've all been relaxing Ryan on his phone and I spending an enjoyable day reading on the kobo. Mom and dad have just been walking around. That ...

It took about an hour and at the Chalet, we stopped and had lunch - great salad made fresh from the owners garden with goat cheese from the town we had just left. Delicious! It was a bit of a bugger considering we won't have time tomorrow as we are at CERN all day. Instead, we went next door to a nice Italian place. I had an awesome risotto, and many of the others got other fantastic looking pasta dishes and pizzas.

... round Apricot and pistachio? maybe some hand made chocolate? I can't decide, Perhaps I could do both tarts, doesn!t look like I'm getting lunch anywhere else today.
Bugger it's locked. Oh well, just have to drool. maybe it's open on the way back.

Saint Maurice de Rotherens is a tiny old town in the foothills with the most stunning mountain backdrop. The European mist (smog?) hides the best of the view, but it's still wonderful. so where are the signs to the walking ...
