Paul's training has kicked in. The Ironman in Copenhagen is on 23rd August. Paul went up the valley this morning (on another beautiful day). Due to the mountainous nature of the roads, we found ourselves in and out of several long tunnels. For some unknown reason, we all suddenly became 5 year olds, and continually sounded our horns, confusing all our European cousins driving alongside us.
As we approached the Italian border, we were in persistent mountain rain, which was actually quite refreshing after the previous days heat.

Saint Maurice de Rotherens is a tiny old town in the foothills with the most stunning mountain backdrop. The European mist (smog?) hides the best of the view, but it's still wonderful. so where are the signs to the walking ...
