The inevitable homesickness has started to make its way into view. I knew this would happen as I settled down and the excitement of being in Europe wears off. I used to rush around from one thing to the next, or multiple things at once, and now I realize how much that contributed to my state of poor health. I'm perfectly happy to take things slowly. I think these lounges that you pay for are great if you have lots of time and need to hang around airports, they have comfortable chairs, drinks, snacks, TV & newspapers. People come and go and we are still here. Calling flight LX2815 to Zurich we are on our way..........
... back but we eventually made it out. We then headed to another Aire location we had that was on our way to Strasbourg in a place called 'Mulhouse'. As we got closer Rich suspected he had got the co ordinate wrong so with even more driving we headed in the direction of Strasbourg. We ended up on a none toll Motorway and my butt which is now displaying a lovely black bruise and lower back was aching quite a bit at this point so we said the first available spot we see to park ...

Saint Maurice de Rotherens is a tiny old town in the foothills with the most stunning mountain backdrop. The European mist (smog?) hides the best of the view, but it's still wonderful. so where are the signs to the walking ...
