      Avignon Papal Palace

A travel blog entry by danielriegel on Nov 19, 2014

When you awaken this morning, you'll find yourself in Avignon. Set off on a walking tour to discover the City of Popes. The small indoor pool has infinity jets which I'd never played with before, and it's kind of cool, but not for very long unless you're there for an actual work-out.

The property is a bit too far out of town to walk, so a few people took the van in to pick up some beer and snacks which many of us enjoyed together while ...

      Provence Day 2

A travel blog entry by lesanddiane on Sep 24, 2013

Today we headed out of Avignon through the Provence country side south to the city of Les Baux to visit the historic area. It was a beautiful drive through endless round abouts, thank God for our navigation system.

On the return we drove through the small quaint town of St. Remy. There was minimal parking as a bull fight was about to begin.
