... made for amazing scenery. We had a lovely afternoon, we missed Marni, it will be great when the four of us can ski together.

I managed to get better at skating today, but just as I stopped I over balanced and put my arm out to stop the fall, it was the arm I have had the injury on for the last half of this year. I thought it had been getting better up until we got to skiing. Les Houches interchanges between runs involve ...

She only had a couple of falls, usually due to a traffic jam on the rope lift when one of the kids had fallen over. We determined that in the afternoon we would try to reinforce the snow plough. (Marni had other ideas, but we will come back to that!)

Nanny and Grandpa went off to go and do the Aillouds blue run.

It is really hard in the ski clothes as she is so slippery, plus the boots and helmets make her super heavy, and then she was like a big lump because she was so tired. Anyway, we had a lovely time just the two of us, she had a bath and some dinner and by 4:30 was ready for bed.

Nanny, Matt and Brody got back at about 5 - a full day skiing for Brody! He was very happy and excited. Anne and Roger came over for some bubbly and nibbles for a couple of hours which was lovely. If we were living in the UK I could see us coming here regularly and catching up with them here!

Marni went off to sleep with no fuss, but Brody was so excited he couldn't sleep - it was nearly 10pm before he dropped off!

Car unpacked and sold.....26,000km and eight months of loyal service! Now all we have to do is cull all this stuff we have accumulated. We're hoping to find a charity shop in Annecy that will take it all......shoes & clothes, chiller bag, thermos flask, pillows etc etc. The good thing about having a car ...
