Not a whole lot of anything new to report here. Today was the first day of the 5th season in Germany, carnival season. At 11:11 am there was a parade and some kind of speech by the mayor or someone important. I didn't go because I was far too occupied sleeping. ... that we had not INTENDED to get on a high-speed train, Katie and I arrived in Munich where we met the rest of my friends and Cave-members, Brit, Pat and Jeff! When I got back I was kinda sad that I was leaving so me and my friends decided to go out as my last hoorah before I spend the day alone tomorrow and then get on my plane. We went to our usual spot and got our usual meal. Pizza! Again I paid 12 USD. When we got back to the hostel my friends fell asleep while I started to pack up. Ahhh what a sad yet happy day today has been.

The Hell of A Train Ride The plan was to meet my friends Christiane and Frank on the train. We would be driving to Stuttgart together in order to move all of Mari and my stuff back to Cologne. ... the country completely exceeded my expectations. Glad we went: Completely. Initially I was like, ugh, Germany, and not keen, but now I love it! Favourite bit: Cologne by night. Next time: The whole rest of the country, with a considerable stop over in Cologne ;)
