... were left to wander the city on our own. We stopped at a few gift shops, enjoyed some ice cream and then visited the famous bridge.
Tonight for dinner, we formally introduced ourselves to one another in our tour group and enjoyed a traditional German meal consisting of soup, turkey nuggets and fries. After a long two days of traveling, we are settling in for a good night's rest!
We left our hotel at 8 am this morning and drove to the Bridge at Remagen. We ran into some traffic, but arrived shortly after 11. We saw what was left of the bridge and also went inside one of the towers to the Peace Museum. This museum had lots of pictures of the bridge before and after the war, plus pictures of some of the men who fought ...
... style UFO caps. I exchanged 50 Euros for 2600 Rubles so I had local currency which I would need for the airport bus. I asked at information where to get the bus.
Bus 39 is the airport bus but there is the 39 minibus and 39 city bus. The minibus costs more and will wait till it fills up. I got on the city bus and didn't know where to pay. A ...

Also funny was 'day care Frankfurt style'. While it was only a few degrees outside, there were two women hauling around a small cart-full of very young children. Eight of them!
Looks like good shopping and very inexpensive, but no room to carry things around.
Didn't feel like dinner again. Just snacked.
Caught up on email, Buddha's work etc in the evening.
We walked Frankfurt's city centre, had to enjoy our first cup of cappuccino (see funny picture), and people watched all the fashionista's in this hub. The weather wasn't the greatest, but rain is better than snow! =P
Lets just say our time in Frankfurt was Stone cold.
