Long day of travelling today. Set off around 10. Travelled thru Belgium & the Netherlands before arriving in Germany. Only 3 stops required ('mum I need a wee, dad I need a poo, We're HUNGRY!!'). Went out for tea at the campsite across the roads' restaurant and got soaked in a thunder storm. Looking forward to a busy day at Playmobile land tomorrow. We also shot off on a ride where you're laying flat on your chest, all strapped in, and you're flying, visually fascinating to watch, however quite intense, especially the sharp upside down moves and jolts. 9 Hour Jetlag in Frankfurt

... eat, but not eat, we wandered for several hours watching locals ride around fashionably on bikes, gaze at the food with uncharacteristic disinterest with eyes glazed over, and hop from bench to bench in our fatigue.

Despite our seemingly lackluster attitudes about it all, we found ourselves having enjoyed the day. This, probably being more on account of how truly charming the city is rather than our ability to see the silver ...
