... same mixed feelings as when we were about to leave. A little impatient, a little sad, a little emotional and very happy.

It is 5:38 pm Italy time... how do I know this???... because our plane has actually landed in Italy. It's a miracle!!! The drive from our hotel is 40 minutes. Along the way I am struck by the beautiful flowering bushes, crazy fast driving and the graffiti. Once we hit about 30 minutes into the drive you start to see the tops of the famous Italian buildings and the quaint shops. The city really bustles to life with everyone vying for parking ...
... find out, neither of those Temples are open right now. So our only option was to go to the Frankfurt, Germany Temple.
It was so great to go to Germany! Ryan loved it a lot...he's more of a beach and tropics guy when we travel but seeing Germany was great for him. He thought it was clean, green and mean. He thought it was beautiful as far as the countryside. The architecture was awesome of the old buildings, the turrets, the old ...
... for the equivalent of 10 cents. We'll miss how some things we saw were so different from our culture, yet, there were many similarities, leading us to also miss the popular phrase of, "Same, same, but different!".
Is there anything we won't miss?
Jason: I won't miss the cockroaches we had in our rooms and bathrooms on a number ...

In fact they are in the midst of pulling down buildings from the 50s when the mayor was keen to tear down old buildings and build modern ones. In the place of these "modern" buildings are being build new "old" buildings in keeping with those around them.
The hotel has an interesting bed setup. Two singles put together with single duvets folded sideways ...
