This is a nice hotel on a quiet side street. The staff have been excellent and professional. The room is clean and comfortable. I took away one star due to the lack of air conditioning.

Stand on the footpath, cross the cycle lane. Then cross the car lane and then 2 tram lines. Cross another car lane followed by a bike lane and you will have made it to the other side. This is how to cross the road in Amsterdam and it's just like playing Frogger. Walk down the street in Amsterdam and you don't need to visit one of the 'coffee shops …

We got our transportation from the airport after Melinda got lost coming out of the bathroom, She walked out the wrong exit and I was worried that she had fallen in and was feeling flushed. She found me after 10 minutes or so and we got our tickets for the hotel shuttle. Our room at the Leonardo Hotel was ready when we got there so we checked in. I …

We were feeling adventurous and chose to stay on a houseboat for the two nights in the city. Houseboats are nearly everywhere and after spending a lot of time sharing a space with other people, we were looking forward to having our own quiet little boat. The pictures looked clean and ...

One couple told us they knew two women called Sheila of totally different natures. So much so that they called one "Good Sheila" and the other "Bad Sheila". They wanted to know which one I had. I told them it depended ...

I ate some yogurt and a few hard boiled eggs (which I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to) and before we knew it, it was time to board the flight to Detroit. The flight was very empty, so dad and Mimi got first class, while mom and I got a row to ourselves. I slept the whole time! Finally, we made it to Detroit and headed straight for the crown room! We got a ...
