... Mind you, it is very tempting as the shops are full of beautiful clothes. We also had lunch at another beautiful Pub called The Georgian. This morning was so mild we went or a long walk with Bindi. Simone took me on a path she had never been on before, so it was a real adventure not knowing where we were going. Along the muddy paths and across the ploughed up fields was certainly hard going, but made worthwhile finding blackberry bushes and stopping to indulge ...

... this time of the year so haven't needed to rug up yet. October was the warmest month on record! Autumn is so beautiful and so I am loving the colours and kicking up the leaves with Bindi! I was craving a typically english roast lunch, so on Friday, we shared a roast chicken platter at yet another really lovely pub. I can see a lot of pub grubs in my future! Divine!!! Enjoy the photos, and love to hear from you! Jude ...

I am staying with more of 'my English family' as they have are now known to me. David and Pam have been welcoming, sharing their home and their dog with me and taking me out for dinner to a very old pub, where I had to duck my head to get in. It's now Monday morning and there is ...

Welcome to Old Buckenham... a fine village!

And so as inspired by a friend from Norwich I figured I'd publish a blog about my home village Old Buckenham and really sell it to the tourists. It is easy to get taken in by the village green and the beautiful village walks that follow it. You'll have spent a full day in this village before you know it! It is hoped that this tourism journal will truly put this Norfolk village on the map...

Let's start at The Gamekeeper pub ...

          ... or elsewhere.
Elm Hill is a photogenic street, often used by the film industry. Riverside path, Cow Tower, Plantation Garden and a drive with friend Gina, across The Broads to see East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens and Happisburgh Lighthouse.
Norwich is famous for Edith Cavell (rhymes with 'gravel' not 'hell'), Lord Nelson, Elizabeth Fry, Colman's Mustard and Stephen Fry. I would like to spend more time in Norwich ...
