      Buffalo to New York

A travel blog entry by marcellinousa on Dec 23, 2014

Picked up at the hotel in a very comfortable private car this time, no sharing with the hoards, and no stopping at a million stops either. Our driver Bill was a friendly older man, I think we learned his whole life story in the short trip to the airport. It was later in the afternoon by now and the place was nearly deserted and most of the stalls were closed except for the butchers. A good sleeping pad can make all the difference too. And a camelback ...

... it! Courts liked it at first and lost interest pretty quickly. We headed to brekky without doing the horseshoe part of the falls just yet. Save some of the suspense I guess, we had an all you can eat buffet for $7, which turned out to be 1 plate of bacon and eggs cuz the food was so ******. Pay for what you get I guess. We walked to the horseshoe falls. We took some snaps, and were over it. Even Dad (who admittedly had been to Victoria Falls a ...

Pics of Buffalo Terminal From Internet

I got some requests for pics of the Buffalo Train Terminal. I already posted the three that I took. They are just from the passing train and through the snow, so they are not too clear. I am posting here some more pics I got from the Internet of the Terminal in its heyday and in its abandoned state today. The good news is that there is a group now that is investing to restore it, not as a ...
