Flight to Sydney was fine, no dramas at all. We had decided to stay over night in Sydney and fly to Hawaii the next day rather than trying to do the straight through flights. We picked one of the hotels next to the airport and funny (but not so funny) we ended with a hotel very reminiscent of Fawlty Towers. Such a dodgy, dingy lobby and when we got the key to our room ...

Kyla: Calvin and I finished our time in Cairns. We relaxed, swam in the pool and did very little after all our moving around. I slept quite a bit, got some reading in and watched a few movies and TV shows. I have to say it was quite nice. The food wasn't bad at all, each person had their own TV screen with tons of options, the airline/ attendants were all super friendly and helpful and the 14 hours went by relatively quickly! The major negative ...

... foggiest notion as to what we are going to do with ourselves long-term. Babies, buy a house, more travel, move interstate, start a business, move overseas? I think it’s going to take at least a few months for the waters to settle and before we will really know how we feel about being back. I might even write another blog post in a couple of months on being back home! We are not going to rush into anything. At this point we are taking it one day at a time with the ...
