... nearby national parks and surfing on Bondi and Marubra beach. I have seen a load of bluebottle jellyfish, big lizards, a possum, a red bellied black snake and a huntsman spider. The red-bellied black snake is supposedly really rare, people have said you can go ten years without seeing one. So I'm well gutted they wouldn't let me take my master ball on the plane. The huntsman spiders unfortunately are quite common, but it wasn't as scary as I was expecting. ...

Long trip back to Sydney...all the way to the airport where we picked up our rental car for our trip up the coast to Coffs Harbour, which starts tomorrow. I had been sweating about where we’d park it near the apartment without risking a ticket...so I’d sent an e-mail to the municipality and received assurances that parking overnight on the street in front of the apartment (if a spot was available) was just fine. The entrance to the building is controversial because set into the mosaic floor are several swastikas, they are the real Sanskrit swastikas, not Nazi (the arms point the opposite direction), but most people can’t tell the difference and when the building was being refurbished they seriously considered taking them out. Thursday was really not a productive day! Waking up very thirsty and really need a shower! After feeling more human I spent a lot of the day flat hunting! ... it. But, it says yoga finds you when you need it the most and in my case it did. It helped me to find some sort of balance and to connect my mind and body.
In the end everyone has to find their own way of dealing with things. All I know is that travelling was the best decision that I have ever made in my life. I donīt regret anything about it and even though I havenīt found what I was looking for, I have found myself.
