    ... so far…. a few almosts, but I learned the first year that copious amounts of rice stop you up, so I am very light on the rice, heavy on the veggies, and have even tried ice cream, this year---soybean popsicles, soft serve with strawberry jelly, and a fantastic English ice cream popsicle that totally hits the spot on these scorching days.     ... smile everyday and I want to give my smile to my students." It is too much to write here, but it made my heart feel great. Then Andi, Lauren and I just had tea at The Merry Christmas Bar with two of the Chinese teachers, Shelley and Lily and it was just lovely to sit and chat and talk about teaching and Chinese/American life. All is good with the world. And Tom (proposal) told me that I was his sunshine! Yup, lucky me...just humbler. ...
