Roos convinced me to join her, Elissa and Malia to Bali. So I completely changed my plans. First, control freak as I am, I really had my doubts cause I’ve been planning this trip for 2 years and in my had I was just thinking of going to Cambodia and Lao after Vietnam. ... eating lots and lots of Banh Mi, oooh and some proper nice beef noodles soup and oodles of noodles and rice, and when we ended up in some weird little town, think, in the mekong delta and of course the poker playing, travels and laughs with yasser and zafrana and as cities go, we enjoyed our time in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh - and of course our private little boat ride in the mekong delta with the lady who made us all sorts of stange stuff out of reed!

We arrived at Padang Bai port, on time. We were then transfered to a cafe where we had to wait for our connecting tranfer to Ubud. It was quite obvious that the only reason we were left in the cafe for an hour, was to purchase food and drink form that particular establishment. Typical.
