... afternoon.

Things calmed down for the remainder of the journey and our perception that all Russian people are rude, has been completely reversed. We experienced such kindness from everyone we came across and we have both agreed that Russians have been kinder to us than any other nation on our trip so far.

After 3 days and 15 hours and 3,266 miles we arrived in to Moscow at 4am.

... Het is ff wennen maar rond half 8 Moskou tijd zijn we wakker en kunnen we ontbijten. Vanwege de verschillende tijdzones houdt de trein Moskou tijd aan maar de dagelijks routine verandert wel in de trein en op een gegeven moment weet je niet meer of je moet ontbjjten of lunchen. In de coupe naast ons zitten 2 stellen uit friesland uit drachten. De klik is er direct natuurlijk als import fries :-) Zij gaan ook naar irkutsk en ulaanbataar dus in het gangpad op weg naar ...

... It was all in Russian and I didn't get a whole lot out of it. However, I did like the submarine simulator. The delicious omul I've been enjoying live below 200m. The nerpa live just above them. Baikal is the largest freshwater lake in the world. It's over 1,600m deep and the only place with better visibility is the Saragasso Sea. I wandered around the adjacent park and ate more omul and warm bread for lunch by the shore. This evening I enjoyed ...
