Our Second Try for Yosemite
... did get to see some interesting redwoods and the remains of fallen trees baring roots or burn scars. They do run a tram to see the entire area, but it was not running today due to the weather conditions.
From there we traveled toward Yosemite Village, passing the famed El Capitan. From inspiration point we were able to view El Capitan, Half Dome and Cathedral Mountain. Driving on we passed Bridal Veil Falls.

2 Trips 1 Week
... will bring a tent for 2 people to stay at the tent sites.
I think that the 3 little grandkids can sleep up with us and then the older 2 can share the couch. Our son can sleep on the dinette and the other person on memory foam on the floor. Then 2 in the tent should be fine.
Driving around S.F. with 5 kids plus 2 adults in a 6 place crew cab truck will be a challenge but we will find a way to duck everyone in.

Fun in the sun - not so much
... so I had to step in. I wasn't very impressed considering the day I had but it was fine, I had to coach 6 very well behaved girls who were of a decent standard. Myself and Jack decided we would take it in turns to coach them. Me and Ashleigh then arrived to tea and they made me try my first ever twinky and ding dong biscuits which were very good. We then chilled out chatting before heading off to bed.

... We carried on into Yosemite Village and stopped just outside Curry Village where we caught the bus to the bottom of the Mist Trail. We intended just to follow it to the Vernal Falls and turn back again. Despite apparently being the same mileage as the previous days trail, it was a much quicker hike. Bakersfield: One Night Only
... the road, although I was surprised to see the order arrive in the form of a cup and a sachet. I prepared my drink, no tipping necessary, and made my way onto the bus, which was parked on a hill, making it very likely my drink would spill everywhere, fortunately it stayed in its cup and not a drop touched the van’s interior.
