Fabulous hotel. Recently remodelled, very comfortable. Great staff. Pool was perfect for a 90 degree day. Tons of restaurants nearby. A stopover hotel, but I could only wish all hotels were like this one!

When you see South Dakota license plates on recreational vehicles, it doesn't necessarily mean they are "from" South Dakota because the RV community has discovered that if you join a "club" and spend at least one night in South Dakota, you can obtain residency and register your vehicles ...

It works as I sleep most of the way until it's time for the next meal. John does better on this flight than on the way over. I sleep again from Seattle to Los Angeles—my body feels like it belongs to someone else, I swear. Our luggage arrives with ...

As Ike reached the spot where the tarantula crossed the center line, along comes a car in the opposite direction and squishes him!! I was really bummed as I got out to take a picture of the squished arachnid, 'cuz I was teasing Ike that I wanted to put him in a tupperware dish and bring him home. He was so big that even a ...
