Fabulous hotel. Recently remodelled, very comfortable. Great staff. Pool was perfect for a 90 degree day. Tons of restaurants nearby. A stopover hotel, but I could only wish all hotels were like this one!

Jack and Elizabeth created this video about their time in SF. A little late in coming, but we hope you enjoy it.

We spent the day in Bakersfield, CA. Why you ask? It was a means to an end. We needed to work toward LV, and it was an opportunity to get caught up on laundry and school work. And, it was free with points.

Fortunately they did or we would of had a very disappointed Jordana. They had a really fun time. We then set off for Bakersfield for the night. About a 4 hour drive. On the way I asked Ash to check my ...

    In Prague we rented the
same hotel we stayed at before. It is right on the square and walking distance
to the castle and most everything. We can’t drive our car into the Czech but
our friend has offered to drive us. We will all go to the Estates Theater to
see the Best of Mozart’s arias.

    We even thought we would

... a Mcdonalds to use the internet, sorted out our accommodation drove around the corner found another holiday inn and grabbed a room there. It is directly opposite to a trailer park and not far from a pizza shop and a bottle shop. Suits us fine. The pizza is yummy and the 1999 Zinfandel is pretty nice for 10.99, even if the cork got stuck.
Tomorrow we head off to Yosemite via a road that Ken has already warned me is the same as today! A real live Ken shortcut. ...

... use the service road. **** road but shortly after we took the detour the traffic on the freeway started to bank up. We maintained our course and speed and observed bumper to bumper traffic for the next 20 Kms. The bank up was due to an inspection station that we were able to avoid. The Legend then put us back on the freeway for another 2 hrs into Bakersfield. The town was a bit dodgy but we settled into ...
