Fabulous hotel. Recently remodelled, very comfortable. Great staff. Pool was perfect for a 90 degree day. Tons of restaurants nearby. A stopover hotel, but I could only wish all hotels were like this one!

With their heads buried as far as they would go into the engine they emerge with ...

We’d planned to bring over the 3 older grandkids for the last 2 months of our stay. Now our grandson would prefer to stay and work at the business he has started. Our #2 granddaughter only wanted to stay for a short time but has now been convinced of the folly of her ...

... details about the meals later, I’ve been going back and forth about fresh veges vs. canned. We will be in the high country for 5 days so it is iffy carrying fresh veges if they’d even last that long, but canned might be heavier and won’t taste as good.

I had the idea that I’d carry dried beans for chilli as I’ll carry a larger cooking pot anyway. I looked online and saw that cooking beans at high altitude ...
