... signs of the damage all around. Foundations with no buildings, empty lots with driveways in place but no buildings, partially demolished high rise buildings. What has been rebuilt is beautiful. Casinos on the waterfront and beautiful stately homes that look like they were untouched.

... that opposite the beach were all empty lots with driveways & foundations!! We were still in Missisiippi but wondered if this was storm damage area. There were a few homes left on high stilts!!

... more we walked the louder the gun shots became. I think they were still pretty far away and the hunters are supposed to stay away from the hiking trails but better safe than sorry.
