    ... to our rooms to try to catch up on some sleep.

    In the evening we went to Ossiano a seafood restaurant, and one of the many restaurants in the hotel. It wasn't cheap but it was very good.

    We had a couple of Mojitos and then on to our dinner with the view of the aquarium.

    I told the waiter it was Fiona's birthday so he brought out a small cake as a surprise and a red rose…lots of Brownie points even though it wasn't her birthday.

    ... saw yellow and orange glows in the distance and through the darkness of night, indicating a city. Sometimes the city was close and we could see streets and city centre and we even flew over the area being created out of the ocean that will be the great new resort one day soon.     ... had a few more drinks. After chatting about what life is like living in Dubai we were almost convinced. Having finished out the last day in Dubai we jumped in yet another taxi and headed back to the hotel to pack our luggage for our flight the next morning.

    ... a great fun day. Monday Had a sleep in, as this is our last day and we fly out at 2am tomorrow, so we have a 2pm checkout, 8 hours to kill, then off to the airport.
