    ... to get sand in it. My FORCC and SB friends will understand :). The belly dancer was good and they promised us we would have the opportunity to do some "star gazing".     ... it felt less artificial than new Dubai with it's created islands and water ways, indoor ski slope, high rise buildings and shopping malls. We ate a lot of Middle Eastern food throughout our stay in Dubai and thankfully I managed to keep Jules away from big mac's and fillet burgers until we were back at Dubai airport ready to fly to Egypt and he had to use up the last of his dirhams on a large whopper with cheese meal.     At night when Dubai becomes more exciting head to the new Souq area of the Dubai mall and watch the fountain display. Every half hour the fountains complete a choreographed song with water, music and lights. Got quite wet as the water spurts up several storeys high. Again another Guiness World record holder. It can spray 83,000 litres of water 500 feet in the air at any moment. Amazing.

    ... and buys flowers to hang somewhere, maybe their cars. The smell of jasmine is wonderful. Then on to where you have to rum the gauntlet of the pressure salesmen. I did succumb at the end the little lane and bought something for the children and my girls. We took the water taxi over the creek in the dark.
