Well, this is it. Final entry. Today marked our final full day in London so we thought we would have a relaxing day at Hampton Court. For the first time in London, we hit wet weather. So far, it has been sitting around 21 degrees every day we have been here, but this morning the rain started and stayed with us for the entire time we were at Hampton Court. A little disappointing as it meant we couldn't really explore the ...

LONDON 7/9/14 Today we have a free day. We walked through Kensington Gardens and caught a bus to Madam Tussauds, then on to the Tower of London to see the Crown Jewels. The Crown Jewels were absolutely magnificent, I always wanted to be Royal, maybe ...

The weather was a little dodgy today so, armed with raincoats, we made our way to The Natural History Museum. The tubes to get there were straight forward enough (it's near Hyde park) however once off the tube we were subject to a bustling, busy, boisterous maze of people all moving different directions with great speed. When you don't know where you are going but have to move anyway it is a bit of a dis arming experience, and it felt like being a child again- following Nic ...

... Man In the World's Attic. There was everything from Henry VIII's writing box to a box designed to contain the remains of Thomas Beckett to Leonardo da Vinci's notebooks to an 11th century bronze sculpture of Ganesh. Even though I just hit the highlights, I still spent 2 hours at the museum. Wonderful. For lunch, I took a gamble. Since we've been outside the U.S. for a week now, I had a ...

... to M&M world. There was a lot of merchandise in M&M world and there was big tubes of different colours/kinds of M&M's so you could make your own mixture. During the day you can also see M&M's being made. Day 1: We went to see the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. There were hundreds and hundreds of people waiting for the changing of the guard so it was quite hard to find a spot where we could see it ...
