The view from the ship of traditional white houses with blue trim was unmistakeable Greek! We took a water taxi from the ship to Mykonos to walk around town and enjoy the picture-postcard views. The weather was slightly warmer than yesterday and we enjoyed a rain-free day. Lefkes is a beautiful little town made up of winding alleys with the traditional white washed walls covered with flowers etc. The walk itself was fairly uneventful apart from some talk of snakes and also the ridiculously strong wind that was blowing. We ended up hitting the coast at a small seaside spot called Piso Lavardi where we had ...

... for a cab. There are none in sight! We wait about 30 minutes, a cab comes but declines our trip so we're still stranded at the moment. I call our hotel but they tell me that there are no transfers available at the moment. We're stranded at the moment. Then a man on a motor bike turns up & says that he has enough space for 2 people on the back of his trailer. Rita and I opt to go with him! So we load up our bags, I sit in the back in the trailer and ...
