Main fact for the day: 3 doughnut day. Mmmm. Was a short day cycling so took it nice and easy. Stopped at the Roark factory which make aerospace stuff and titanium bikes.
Cycled through a pretty park and also stopped at the Speedway circuit and velodrome.
Heating up again now as clouds are clearing but still nice riding temps in the 30s.
Tomorrow is a rest day ahhh. Who knows may even update the missing blog bits...
After a couple of hours at the museum - we jumped in the car - grabbed sandwiches for the road and began the LONG trek to Naperville, IL to see Erin, George and Meghan (Krissy was in NC and Sara is in NYC - we see her next week!). Got to Indianapolis just in time to swim in pool before it closed! Woman at front desk felt bad for us all crammed into one room so she gave us a suite and it has a pull out sofa in a sep room and the sofa has a 3rd section that is a mini day bed so everyone has a spot to sleep!!! ... entertaining. We spoke before the race and they were fairly sober. As the race progressed, they go very drunk. The guy directly in front of me could barely stand up. I kept watching him as he tried to navigate his way down the bleachers. I was positive he would fall down – I had the camera ready in case he did!!
