After a few breaks for food and drink we went onto Lincoln park, the largest in Chicago supporting soccer fields, tennis courts, basket ball courts, baseball field, nature walk with lake, a very large free zoo, conservatory housing tropical plants and further on is a golf course. If you are driving I think parking is expensive. We did go to the zoo, a very well maintained area for both animals and visitors - although I really enjoyed the visit was torn with certain animals ...
