    ... several power failures) Vicki tried on several rings - came away not buying - was fun experience. Van back to Patong - and headed for the pool. It was "happy hour - 2 for 1 - so we decided to live "on the edge" and have a banana Rama each - too creamy for me.
    After a lazy swim , pool temp is perfect we decided we go for a stroll along the beach - which at 6.30 was packed with para gliders and swimmers. Sunset was beautiful - amazing facing west ...

    ... made up of a large matted area, a few boxing rings and a weight zone. All of this sits under a canopy just off the street, but with no walls or air con, there's little to protect you from the 35 degree heat! After an intense hour we slowly hobbled back to the hotel to bandage our blisters, nurse our bruises, eat a salad and sleep.... A pattern that didn't change much over the next two weeks.     Day 1 - Our flight got in about 20 minutes late, then we had to wait over an hour to get through imagination. We had to get a mini bus to the the hotel (that's right, hotel, Linda treated us) on the way the minibus stops and you all have to get out and they try and sell you stuff which is annoying.     We was up early again to day, 5.30 the alar went off for a day of travelling, we went and had breakfast then checked out the bat didn't get there until 7 and we was sat on it for 2hours before we even started heading back to Phuket!
