    ... of curry and alcohol, mixed with erratic drivers which are almost impossible to avoid! Although the memory of watching Dolphins jumping around in the ocean, to the sun setting at Agonda was still fresh in our minds, made the journey more bearable.

    Deciding 3 weeks was enough in Goa, we booked our onward train journey to Hampi for the day after my family flew back to England.

    ... getting a charter boat from Pallolum beach to Butterfly beach, which is a more secluded beach without the tourists and the hotels. We decided against it as it was getting quite costly, and Pallolum beach is beautiful anyway. We spent the day relaxing, and got a half hour back massage for about $6.     Thursday 3rd October
    We take it easy and hit the local beach.

    Friday & Saturday
    Thursday evening I am struck down with the dreaded Delhi belly! I was grateful to have lasted this long, many friends who have had it have described the experience to something like dying. And I now can completely relate to it.

    ... the stars and planes flying overhead. And guess what? The sound of the waves is beautiful and lulls one into relaxation, while you're sitting on the porch. But we both said the sound is too much when you're in bed! How crazy is that? I don't think I'd want beachfront in Grand Bend because of this.
    Anyway, we got the fellows to deliver us an extra mattress this morning, so we'll see how tonight goes.
