I spent the first night with Laura leaving Lynme and Sandra to cope on their own. This was not a good move. Air con set they climbed into bed armed with a sheet each then spent the rest shivering. To say the least Lynme is now an expert with all variations of air con remote comtrols.

Thursday 3rd October
We take it easy and hit the local beach.
Friday & Saturday
Thursday evening I am struck down with the dreaded Delhi belly! I was grateful to have lasted this long, many friends who have had it have described the experience to something like dying. And I now can completely relate to it.
To top it off it continued to rain solidly for the next two days while we festered in our box ...
... dinner at another beachside restaurant and made it home around 1 pm after a very comical journey which involved lots of negotiation a stop at an ATM and a gas station. The best part was when Heath exclaimed to the driver " you are a very good driver, how long have you been driving?" "2 years" was his reply. No wonder Heath spent most of the journey in the passenger seat with his eyes closed! ...
... beach holiday, it does tick many of the boxes for a relaxing time. Plenty of choices for places to stay and eat. Ththe most unstable bathroom floor, ever! beach sand is beautiful pale and fine and regularly cleaned. The beach slopes very gently into the waves, and it is shallow for a long way out. It s pretty relaxed and that is one of the main reasons we are here, for Jim to recharge his batteries, and I can't complain about a bit of relaxation either. Although I do worry, that ...
... India are not as poor as that. Now we agreed that people in Africa are poor but I am not sure if he has seen the poverty in his own country. The poverty here is unbelievable. More so in the North of the country. It just seemed to strange that he did not perceive some of the people in India as poor.
We went kayaking today over to Green Island and we were much better than when we did it before. I even got a blister on my finger from all my hard work!
