      I spent the first night with Laura leaving Lynme and Sandra to cope on their own. This was not a good move. Air con set they climbed into bed armed with a sheet each then spent the rest shivering. To say the least Lynme is now an expert with all variations of air con remote comtrols.

      ... and check out a couple more beaches. Our errands included finding contact lens solution for me and purchasing our train tickets to Kerala. It's true Mom, I am going on another overnight train on India Railways. Contact lens solution was easy enough to find, though it always seems a challenge for Indians to produce change. Smaller bills and coins seem to seem to be in short supply. Not sure what that is about, but it took us an extra seven or so minutes while the optometrist's wife ...

I had a really cool send off and managed to see pretty much all my mates before I went and then I was on my own at the local bus station and travelling had begun, albeit not the best views from Hanley bus station in Stoke.
