I spent the first night with Laura leaving Lynme and Sandra to cope on their own. This was not a good move. Air con set they climbed into bed armed with a sheet each then spent the rest shivering. To say the least Lynme is now an expert with all variations of air con remote comtrols.

... sunset's in the evening were beautiful. There would be people still playing on the beach and swimming in the sea well past sunset.

The only activity we did participate in was the body boards, (grand total of R40, 50p an hour) and soon after I realised which way the board goes up I was able to beat Sam boy on the waves.

Weather – Sunny, 33oc. Cool enough in the evening to sleep. Perfect.

... t go into detail, but I didn’t get any sleep in our cheap hostel room and spent most of the time in the bathroom. I also won't be able to eat tuna again for a very long time. Somehow Ed moved us to another beach the following day called Ashvem ( I wanted to go here as Emily had recommended it) which was twenty minutes away in a taxi. Here, I slept for 16 hours, curled in a ball while Ed looked after me between watching the England v India cricket game ...
