    Friday 30th October

On the ship until 2.30 when we left by tender for the short service to Mykonos, one of Greece's most popular tourist islands. Here we wandered for an hour with Cindy & Mike before grabbing a well deserved beer in a cafe overlooking the famous windmills, formerly used to grind the island’s grain. The strange feeling you get when you walk through the doorway and the open water and deck ...

This morning we arrived in Mykonos, the most famous and expensive Island of Greece. It is very cosmopolitan and attracts the rich and famous. The white washed town is closed to traffic during most of the day which makes it easy to walk around through the chic shops, galleries and numerous cafés. The famous windmills are a trademark of the island. Just below the windmills is the section called Little Venice, which is one the prettiest sections of ...

It is then off to town. We enquire if there are any island tours, no. But, there is a bus to Pigros which is thought to be about the best village. Nice run ...
