      29th July

      Javier dropped us at the train station to get the 5hr train to Miami, which we then found out was delayed by an hour. We sat in a cute cafe 'Lucy's' and we both had chicken wraps. It was delicious so we were kind of glad we were delayed!

      It was getting on for around 8pm by the time we arrived. We were staying at another AirBnB but this time the host was not around, so we had the apartment to ourselves. It was lovely, all one room really, ...

      ... on impressing us with his knowledge of the value of various properties in the city - ho hum, who cares!

      Next was a cruise on a replica pirate ship - again to show off the homes of the rich and famous. It was a stinking hot day, so the light breeze blowing on the water was of some relief.

      Finally I was able to check in to my room on my return. As was the theme of this hotel, all the accessories in the room were red, with white walls ...

      ... the winters in Florida and the summers in New Jersey. Marge clearly ran the show - and the business. She was quick witted with a snappy answer for everything.

      Both couples were well-traveled, interesting people, and we enjoyed their company very much. Every night we would stay at the table talking much to to the consternation of our waiter, Alvin, who had to prepare for the second seating.
