... first beer, I wondered when our food is coming...I think stef had the same feeling. And when you're in a different country, you have to eat their food.....just because, you know. So twenty minutes later, our bellies where about to get filled and the wallets about to get a bit thinner. Very good steak pie and chicken pie. Worth it.
We headed home with a slightly guilty conscience but hey, you only live once so go for it ;)
... lovely in the watery winter sunshine. It was so cold that in places where there were ponds and inlets the water was frozen. The sun became stronger so that when we got to Amboise it was almost impossible to photograph the chateau.
