It was dry this morning which was a surprise but it looks like rain is forecast later in the day so we hope to be in St Malo before then. We are following the coast on today's ride which will be almost twice as long as the direct route. Apart from the weather we have no hurry to be in St Malo and we will be back staying at Hotel Kyriad as we did on the first night. We left after breakfast and had about 4 stops for various reasons before we had gone ...

It was a lovely ride out to the coast and then along the seafront to Le Vivier-Sur-Mer, a busy port town where mussels and oysters are grown and harvested. Arriving at the hotel, Hotel Beau Rivage, they were kind enough to scurry around and find a room that was ready for us, another attic room but very spacious. ... on our bikes but will probably do a walk around the outside. We only have 33 kms tomorrow so a more cruisey day. The weather forecast is still showing rain so fingers crossed we will get another dry day. When we check in at the hotels they are always take a lot of time to explain that if we come in after 11pm we would need a special code as the reception is closed. We think it's funny as that's the last thing on our minds. We are lucky to still be awake at 10 pm. Tonight will be no ...

... wind chill factor as we raced down the road near the long hill we had ridden up yesterday. Suddenly we were in a beautiful tiny town, bathed in sun but still chilly and adorned with stone cottages and flowering baskets. Yesterday we traded busy roads for quiet roads that wound up and down through villages. Today we were rewarded with about the first 20 kms being mostly on canal tow paths. Although this is an organised tour, we seem to be the only ...

... mouse. Quin got the omelet thing, a salad, and cheese with toast. Except for the omelets it was a very tasty dinner in a pretty restaurant. After that we went out and watched the tides change for a little while. I found that super cool. They came in around a mile and covered up all the marsh land around the mont. Once we were done we took the free tram across the bridge back to our place, and settled down for the ...
