... living in some dude's house with all of his stuff still here. It's right in the centre of Geneva which in our couple of days here seems to be a bit of a stiff place and not particularly friendly. It is a stunning setting on both sides of the lake with a very strong French architectural influence and lovely parks with lots of sculptures and art everywhere, similar to Lugano.
Unfortunately the bathroom scales worked in our new place ...

The rock is just a tiny blip in it’s path, the river keeps flowing, maybe down a different path than originally intended, but is that really so awful? It gets past it and returns to smooth sailing. Maybe if I look at life’s challenges like these rocks, not so much as obstacles, rather as tiny detours, I can return to smooth sailing a little ...
... I've been doing almost daily market runs and cooking some fun stuff, which is therapeutic in itself, in addition to the good food. Included in the pictures are also some of my latest adventures in the kitchen ;-)

We set Cally up for a few nights in the tiny village of Herplemont, in the foothills of the Vosges Mountains. Fishing rod out, beer in hand as the sun descended over the lake.
