... amount of respect for food and eating. I've definitely sensed some eye rolling/sighing/tutting at the undue haste with which we approach our meals. Chris has even caused a mild panic several times by getting impatient and doing the unthinkable and going up to the counter to pay!

... solstice (Inti Raymi) later in June. Actually, have you noticed how people with little or nothing use any excuse to party? They find something to celebrate in the smallest things. It's humbling.

... fell and load of liquids, DOH! I knew going to the pub last night was a bad idea. (yea yea, going to the pub most times is a bad idea, blame my 60% bad influence Karl) Just as I thought I couldnt go a deeper shade of red they pull out my kindle and tell that is should;ve been taken out along with the laptop, I could've kept quiet. I wish I'd kept quiet. Responding with "but they were only asking for people to take out laptops" did not help my embarrassment when I realised how stupid ...

My accommodation whilst living in France consisted of only two places; the first being The CrewHouse where I stayed for 5 weeks and then a caravan park for 2 weeks. The CrewHouse was a great place to be in the beginning as it allowed for networking and also a place where a whole lot of us yachties could feel the demoralization grow with each day of not finding work. ...
