    ... They were tryingto entice their SON to eat his food. Reminded us of someone.
    Sorry should have explained the pom in yesterdays blog. We kept on running into this british couple. Beach, restaurant in the street at Cagliari and lastly at the nuraghe site. By this time we were on hugging status.
    There r a lot of germans tourist. I (ann) keep getting mistaken for a german - bloody insult - sorry Mary.
    Still having a fab time.

    ... about the locals.
    Arrived in Santa Teresa di Gallura. Greated in half Italian and french by the 70 yearold lady who's father had started the hotel and restaurant in the town.
    Went for a walk to the high points, the marina and the chiesa.
    Got our bathers and walked to the beach. Refreshing, the water is so clear and azure blue.
    Decided to have a few drinks in front of the hotel before ...

    Back on the Azamara, we join 6 of our new friends for an elegant dinner. C.C. Carter, a seasoned spoken word performer from Chicago. She brought down the house with her celebration of "curvalicious" women. Dana crashes and Mary ends the night with dancing.

    ... would not allow his assistant, to touch the tools, cut the meats so I had to go across and bring the owner who was having his coffee with his friends. People are friendly there and they get to know you fast. I also love talking to them and hear their stories. It;s been only three days and I already had few friends there:)

    ... some restaurants would even have a DJ in the street in front of the restaurant playing music. Our hotel was located in the centre ville. I loved the proximity to restaurants, shops, boulangerie, epicerie and everything I need. As for the beaches, they were outside of the city, max 10 min drive. Although we felt a bit tired that evening, we couldn’t resist so we went out to check out the place. I was both excited and happy to spend the next three days in this ...
