Day 48- We started off in the morning with the goal of getting to a town where we could buy some food. We were still hungry from yesterday, but at least we were in better moods. About 10km down the road, we came to Saint Palais, where we were finally able to buy bread, cheese, yogurt, and Snickers (well okay, they bought me a Snickers). She even offered us cold drinks, which was ...

I am in Biarritz, another pretty place. Very busy, tiny streets, lots to see, but I only have tomorrow to sightsee.. I have settled into a auberge, it's a proper hostel. Clean, organized, professionally run. I'm doing my first load of washing at last. But due to the reduction of weight in my pack I am sitting on my bed in shorts, and a rain coat, a pair of thongs as everything is in the machine.... Lol My boots have an amazing aroma to them.... Ok, it's a gross odour... ...
