... I decided to just pay the extra $50 for him to give me a ride directo to Chichi. Turns out, the ride was quite nice and I heard all about his old novia gringita, and his travels here and there. ... jede Frau um mindestens einen bis zwei Koepfe. Mir ist dieses Land echt auf Anhieb sehr sympathisch. Obwohl man ja sagt, dass Antigua eher Maerchenwelt als 'real Guatemala' ist, mal schauen. Ich freu mich jedenfalls darauf, mehr zu sehen. Antigua ist umgeben von drei verschiedenen Vulkanen, ist auch etwas erhoeht uns somit etwas kuehler. Einfach herrlich nach der Hitze in El Salvador. ... igen i de ødelagte huse og begyndte at reparere og restaurere. På grund af jordskælvet, er det lykkedes at bevare byen omtrent som den så ud i 1773. Og den fungerer nu som et levende frilands museum. Dog et af de større, idet byen i dag har 30.000 indbyggere - ca. det halve af fordums storhed.Byen er let at finde rund i med de lange lige og på hinanden vinkelrette gader, men ankommer man som jeg på en sen aften ser byen meget tilknappet ud.
