A travel blog entry by keshiak on Aug 08, 2015

I need to mark Basel on the map & would also like to say to anyone reading this that might be planning a trip to the area, we stayed at The Passage hotel - it was EXCELLENT ! and I would highly recommend it; awesome shower, big rooms, comfy bed, mini fridge (if you can afford that sort of thing), a fantastic gym downstairs, and just a hop, skip, and jump away from anything and everything you could possibly want. ...

When we'd finished ogling the falls I put a name into the GPS for somewhere in Germany towards the Blackforest just so we could get out of there. We have ended up in Freiburg and arrived in pouring rain. It took awhile to book in but by the time I had the weather had cleared so we walked into town for ...

Not much like France, far more like Switzerland, right down to the cows and the cow bells. You can imagine adverts being made here for milk, yoghurt, butter, all things dairy. But you cannot imagine John Lydon. And, away from the ski lifts that lay redundant in summer anyway, it is difficult to imagine the skiing hub this place must become in ...
