    Werner and I rode from Beaune to Liesberg in 3 hours. It was a short but good ride.

    Overall we had an excellent time, saw some new interesting places, and were very good riding pair.

    They had some nice benches at the bottom of the falls so that people could lie down and look up at the falls, which was cool. We hiked up the side trail to the top and then up to the upper village of Todtnauberg, 3.5kms from Todtnau, which is where the falls originate.     What summer? Since arriving in Zurich on a cool wet morning, the summer should have been renamed early spring. The temperature rarely climb over 22*, the showers are frequent and the sky mostly cloudy with occasional fog.
    The day after my arrival, I went to Lausanne by train to pick up my BMW from my nephew's garage. After installing the battery and removing the cob webs from the engine, the bike started first go! Music to my ears!
