Great hotel. It is very hard to find a hotel that will fit 5 people. This was perfect. 2 separate bedrooms with a shared door. Great service, breakfast was very good

We made it to Paris! Our hotel in Paris is Hotel Le Six in the 6th arrondissement(neighborhood). We have two connecting rooms and all the comforts of home. Long day, travel days are hard work. All worth it because I love Paris! I liked London but it's not Paris... Glad to be back. I hope the kids like it as much as I do.
... 2 Sept) Paris Okay. Time to get on with our visit so we head into the city to go on a guided bike tour. When we get to where we were supposed to meet our guide, there was no one in sight, but we put this down to us being a bit early. There was, however, a local market happening. Alita was delighted. Apparently there is a law in Paris that requires every district to hold a local market at least twice a week. Needless to say the start of each touring day in Paris thereafter ...
... of course, and so watched a movie til after 10:00pm. Then did some preliminary packing and cleaning before bed. Got up early to finish things off, check out and head to Gare de Nord to catch our train to London. I'm sitting here writing this blog while CJ catches up on postcards while we wait to go through British security / ...

When we returned to the Eiffel Tower, we ran into yet another pick-pocketing situation. A woman came over and asked if I spoke English, when I said "yes" she put a clipboard in front of my face and a pen. The paper wanted me to sign a campaign for something that I refused to read. I was smart at this point. I know that somewhere in fine print it said something that explained that by signing that I would need to give them money. Fair ...
