      ... driver the heavens opened and we ran for cover.
      Clearly, once this eased off it was time to head back to Paris.
      There was a bit of a wait for the bus but it eventually showed up, and then we had another wait at the station as this is rural area and services are not so regular as the five minutes we have been used to for the Metro in Paris.

      ... made it without any retracing of our steps. Perhaps a few extra loop a rounds, but no retracing.

      Welcome with a big friendly smile at the Joyce Hotel, we settled in to our 6th floor room easily. In a part of Paris that is close to the places we like, the next few days are likely to be filled with walking, drinking of double espressos and soaking up the atmosphere of this place.

      ... that I had a look around some of the amazing markets in the city. I kept an eye on the time because after 3pm there’s reduced admission to Madame Tussauds. It’s not every day I get to see David Beckham, Lady Gaga and Brad Pitt. Some of the waxworks were amazing and I got some great photos too.

      After grabbing something to eat I was ready for a great night out. Not all night though, it’s been a long old day. ...

      ... shot of flying over France. The European fields are beautiful and orderly.

      It was rainy today, but no too bad. The weather in Paris while I'm here looks like rain, but the temperatures should be in the 60's. It's helping those beautiful spring flowers bloom :)

      Took the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Ordered room service and going to sleep... Still haven't caught up ...

      ... but is different to find yourself physically standing inside your own heads image. Jessie got her Luis vuten bag which was another thing off her bucket list. We decided to walk to the Louvre. Boy I am doing so much walking

      as we walked down there were roadside markets and Ben... I had the best Salmon I have had in my life. It was Nordic grilled over a fire and I am salivating just writing about it. Tried some sidewalk creeps but they weren't crash hit. ...
