... to the bottom of the lake! Also, it was a perfect crystal blue color. I wish I could've gone swimming but it wasn't warm enough, made me miss my cabin a bit.

Then we visited the Medieval castle which was different than all the other castles I've been to so far. It also had an a great view of the city and the mountains with the lake below.

Okay. So one more day before the departure. I've had a few busy days this past week (as always when you travel). Between job interviews, for when I come back, and health problems, I wish I could be already on the plane just to relax.

In five days, I'll be leaving Geneva for an amazing adventure. This week is going to be busy, because I still have to do a lot before the departure.

I did already all my paperwork for the travelling, my vaccines are all done and my luggages are almost ready too.

Now, I have to read a lot about South Africa and the history about Cap Town, to be able to write good articles when I'll be there.

Day minus 207: Geneva to French Alps

So......... the first blog entry starts on the first cycling day of the Alpine Raid, a holiday with 6 days of cycling taking us from Geneva, through the Alps and finishing in Antibes in the French Riviera.

An awesome challenge with climbs reaching altitudes 5 times higher than anything I'd done before in the UK. Sadly things didn't go to plan ...

We started this morning exploring Geneva lake, taking a water taxi and cross-crossing the lake twice on a beautiful day. Leaving Geneva we drove to Neuchatel, a quaint lake side town where we had lunch.
