    ... fairy garden with totally eye boggling views of the surrounding coastline.

    Eze I think was my most favourite part of the trip albeit a small part. Very cool.

    Tonight I bypassed official dinner (again durum pasta, and pork) for yoga in our room and supermarket snacks for dinner. Nice to be away from the group!

    ... called Chez Mikael at the cheaper end of the town. (On the main front street the restaurants were 40 euros for a starter!! ) The boys shared some Escargot which they both liked. Then Mike followed it with giant prawns. We were glad we had stopped when we did because the heavens opened and there was a huge downpour with thunder and lightning.     ... the misting jets which sporadically shoot up from the paving as we approached Place Massena. This water feature continued on over quite a large area, with a cleverly choreographed play of jets, constantly changing and surprising strollers. This large open area gives a wonderful sense of space as the heart of the city dedicated to the residents, with only trams going through the centre and vehicles relegated to the perimeter.     ... dessert that left him barely able to move. That sustained him for the ferry trip. We have both put on a few (!!!!) kilos, not surprising since all we've done is eat and drink for five weeks.
