I am delighted to report that our team has been re-united.

We have had a couple of stressful days, with Allen trying to repeat my 2014 gall bladder episode. If he had acted sooner I could have even taken him to the hospital in Aix that did such a great job removing my source of great pain. The result was a little different and ...

... included), and headed west! We took the high road to show Geri-Lyn the stunning views of the Med from up high. Geri-Lyn visited Conor last time he was here in France, so she had been to Villefranche once before already. On our way towards the beach, she suggested that we try to get farther out along the coast to check out the different view. Excellent idea! We got caught in a traffic jam but finally arrived in Monte Carlo and at the Fairmont Hotel. Being first off the bus meant ...

Going to Monaco for the Grand Prix is a childhood dream come true. We had to leave, unexpectedly on the Monday morning at 5. The trip was about 14 hours long, and I slept most of the way. We then docked in Monaco and had 4 full days before the owner and his guest arrived, which was on the Friday.

We got the boat "guest-ready", and did some provisioning, which gave us an opportunity to explore the area a bit. At night we went out to explore the night-life. Very ...

... where we got some excellent selfies and got terrific views of the ocean (I also managed to do my quote from Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald while Kelsie was behind the camera making faces at me the entire time)! We hit up the beach and spent quite a lot of time throwing rocks into the water (yes, we are Honors students and there is nothing wrong with spending our time this way! Let's just say we were doing tests concerning physics...). We walked all through ...
