    ... why so may people return there to simply revisit a superb work of art, and cultural heritage.
    Took heaps of photos, and headed south towards Amboise for the Chateau Royal. On the way we happened upon a Caravan of Gypsies or (Roms). The Gendarmerie had them stopped on the highway east of the town, and the caravan stretched for any kilometres. Bizarre.

    ... 160;Many of these rooms alone were larger than the apartment we rent in Cambridge! Although there were dozens of these watercraft in the harbor, we never saw anyone lounging onboard.  Occasionally, we would see a deckhand doing some menial task along the railing, but no one of distinction.  It didn't seem like the owners were around so I kept looking for a yacht with an open sliding door so I could peek inside.  Maybe they would have had a TV with Keeping Up with ...
