    ... off but all the other men were wearing speedos.. Pleasant... NOT!! French pool rules are weird and the Dutch are even stranger for actually listening to them! Anyhoo we had a nice afternoon and had the last part of our BBQ tonight.. Simon cooked it he is now on his official P plates. Tomorrow maybe much of the same but we will be thinking about where to go to in Spain next! Exciting! Lots of love ...

    ... cliffs to Mala Beach was closed off, which was a bit of a disappointment. To make up for it I ran off down to the beach when I got back to Nice, since it's a whole two blocks away from where I'm staying. The current was strong but the water was warm. It was all rather refreshing.

    ... the day much more bearable as it would have been torture up on the hill with the mob all day.

    It wasn't long sitting in the rarified atmosphere with all the rich snobs before I actually did start missing the mob a bit. It was a whole different clientele staying at the Fairmont on race day, and it started making me feel uncomfortable. I knew where I belonged so I legged it all the way back around the track to the ever increasing crowd back where I started.
