We spent 1hr there and it was well worth it. The entrance was free as it was the first Sunday of the month. Soon after our visit, we picked up our luggage and went to the airport to catch our flight to Rome where we had accommodations for one night.

We have arrived around 6pm and went straight to the hotel to check in. I booked hotel Napoleon. It had great reviews and was located right in the centre ville. I was happy with the hotel and it had a great location indeed.

... some shoppingJ. Calvi has many boutiques and the clothes are beautiful, some are funky, all very unique. I wished we had similar stores in Canada. Wishful thinking.
After spending some time – and money-we went back to the hotel, where we enjoyed the rest of the afternoon by the pool but not without our books.

... day enjoying the waves. On our way back to Calvi, we made another stop at the beach St Ambrogia, which looked really nice from the top of the hill, spent 2 hrs and then went back to the hotel.
In the evening, we went out for dinner and Ice cream..hmm..everywhere you look around there are icecream and crepes, so delicious..
