We continued along the Champs-Elysses, taking in the Arc de Triomphe at the end of the boulevard. We hopped on a city bus that was supposed to take us along the Champs, but due to the boulevard being closed to bus traffic, took us on an alternative route, through the west end of the city. ... in which Paris tried to nudge residents to do the morally right thing when considering parking in a handicapped-designated spot. Fines were not enough to be a deterrent to parking offenders. So the new tactic - post signs reminding able-bodied individuals of their moral responsibility. Many spots now are emblazoned with a new sign that reads "If you take my spot, take my handicap too!" Apparently the sign was a huge success.
... training. While we didn't go inside the museum, we did explore the grounds. Following this, we got back on the bus and did a full lap of the Grand Paris route. This took us past all the major attractions and gave us a detailed history of what we were seeing which was really interesting.

In the afternoon we wandered through Montmarte, one of our favourite parts of Paris so far. Famous for the artists whom resided there, including Picasso, Degas and Van Gogh and Le Chat Noir cabaret Montmarte is home to many gorgeous boutique stores (a few of our favourites which we have included photos), cafes and a wonderful chocolate museum: Le Petit Musee du Chocolat.
