After unpacking our luggage, we headed out to Cemetery du Pere-Lachaise, a cemetery where quite a few notable people are buried. We visited the graves of Georges Bizet, Frederic Chopin and Oscar Wilde (see my photos). There is glass around the grave of Oscar Wilde because there is a tradition of people kissing the gravestone and apparently lipstick previously left on the gravestone was deteriorating it.

Drizzle is Romantic, Wind is NOT
... We felt prepared because we have read about it in various websites. We checked into our hotel and as usual, our room wasn't ready yet so we left our bags with the concierge. We had less than 2 full days so we could only cover the touristy places.
