My speedo says I have travelled 190 miles since Calais/dover where I filled up before boarding, and I saw a sign just before the fuel station with my destination, Charleville-Mezieres - 37.

... off we went out of Paris. Once again, Michael did a good job and soon we were on the highway heading for the Ardennes. Still hadn't booked a place, which we weren't too happy about. Michael was trying to please everyone. The drive was lovely through hills and wide open spaces. ... in Calais safely.

We had decided to try and get to Switzerland toll free (on the recommendation of people on the Caravan Talk forum) using the route through Belgium & Luxembourg, and as all their autoroutes are free and actually shorter than through France, it seemed like a good idea...
