          A more relaxed start today as we left Orleans about 10am for Chateau de Chambord. This chateau is huge compared to others like Chenonceau. The buildings are located on a massive estate of 5440ha that is surrounded by a national park. There are 426 rooms, 282 fireplaces and 77 staircases.           ... centre for a bit, and up to the cathedral, really nice bakeries around here, that make really nice quiches and great coffee.
          Wanted to get into Paris early so didn't stay long but I liked this place, really nice.
          Watch out for the trams tho, they are real quiet.

          ... through the Foret du Chambord before rejoining the Loire a Velo route which we then followed to Orleans. The route today was very pleasant along mainly flat cycle paths and levees by the river.
