Hi, my battery is low and I'm blogging from the tourist office, so I'll keep this brief.
I had a great time with my hosts in Coole, who invited me to join them and some close relatives and friends for Sunday lunch at a neighbour's house in the village. We had lots to eat and drink (tres leisurely) and so I didn't start my 4hr walk until late afternoon. This turned out to be a wise move as it meant I avoided the worst of another hot ...

One last thing about staying with pilgrim hosts is the issue of deciding what kind of donation to make. It may seem easy - just pay what you can afford - but I find it hard to decide on a fair price to pay. All the years I've watched channel 4's "4-in-a-bed" has not helped me deal comfortably with this dilemma.
